I would say so in my case, my dad definitely made my stutter worse. I would be talking to him as a kid, excited to share something with him and have blocks, and in most cases he would run out of patience and start talking over me. I never really said anything as a kid to not upset him, but it hurt. I eventually developed a bad habit of trying to talk faster and try not to have blocks so I wouldn’t be cut off, but that just made it worse. It ultimately made my secondary motions even worse, I never really had them until high school.
