Dude, I was just very lucky. She has her Ph.D. and is an APRN, an advanced practice RN. She teaches at our medical school. After 70 years of stuttering, she recognized I had an abusive childhood. When we dealt with my feelings of anger and resentment, I became fluent! Better late than never. Her mode of treatment for me was called Psychodynamic therapy. Good Luck, Sue
