I'm 41F and it never got better for me when I became an adult. I've had 4 jobs where I botched a presentation & was let go the very next day. My niece laughed at me once and mocked my stutter. My grandmother told me to just say something, anything during a bad block. I've been asked if I'm retarded or having a stroke. I had a boss who would sigh loudly everytime I stuttered. My SLP said there's a technical term for people like her. A bitch :D It's hard when it happens but those people are ignorant. I find a lot of comfort in this group. Knowing you're all here for me whenever I need to talk is fantastic ❤
