Hi. The tensing of my jaw/mouth is very very instinctive esp on a feared word. Before I can even react myself, the tensing kicks in. Even if I try to relax, the freeze mode kicks in almost immediately like panic. I can say the the feared word alone.. but in a social setting, my anxiety takes over. It feels impossible to override the default mode esp in high stress environments. I wish I could somehow replicate high stress environments to practice.. Do you think speech therapy would help in this case?
