Hey man thanks for the comprehensive feedback as usual. 1- The minimum and maximum values aren’t relevant here because the benchmark is with the scores of other adults who stutters. Secondly, psychological assessments are rarely ever designed with a fixed maximum in mind. Scoring a 10% on one depression scale may not be the same as scoring a 10% on another scale. Scores are usually benchmark according to the population of interest. In this case, adults who stutter. 2- I didn’t choose to categorise the roles. These were output from the data. Clarifying the labels will be done elsewhere and wasn’t the purpose of this post. 3- I didn’t develop the measurements. These are all scientifically validated measures that captures different mental factors. 4- Anxiety isn’t simply an intrusive feeling. That’s an oversimplification that fails to capture the complexity of it. Intrusive thought can be a symptom for many psychological difficulties. And I didn’t set the values…these are all already set from validated studies. 5- You don’t know if these are triggers or the underlying developmental/mental predispositions. I didn’t report these and won’t as I can’t until the journal process is finished. 6- Talking about modality is talking about treatment which isn’t the point of the post neither was it the point of the research. The research simply aimed to target the driving psychological factors underlying stuttering in adulthood. Again, I didn’t develop the measurements. These are already validated measures. 7- The point is not to explain the processes but to collect feedback on the graph. Explanation on processes will be covered in depth at a later point. Overall thanks for your thoughtful contribution. It seems like there is an assumption that I developed these measures. I didn’t so I cannot answer your questions relating to them. Secondly, psychological measurements are not created according to the way you’ve reported here. Lastly, explanations will come later 🙏🏾
