The amount of money that has been poured into Cancer research is staggering and yet cancer is still a huge problem killing millions of people each year. It's not about the money. Also, it's highly likely that, like cancer, stuttering has a multitude of causes and each case of stuttering may be unique to that individual so there will never be a 'cure' for stuttering.
