First of all, don't panic. You're a smart person, and you're aware of your issue, and believe it or not, that's a pretty good start for a recovery. Recovery is a lot of hard work and discipline. Do research what kind of therapies are available for you, sign in to therapy, and put your heart into the exercises and you will see an improvement. I stutter myself, but I do it much less than I did 10 years ago.
