Stuttering goes away with time. Anger and hatred and a desire to get rid of the stutter will only make you feel terrible. The sad truth is that the stutter won't go away overnight and will take time. How much time; I do not know. Stuttering is a restrictive feeling, but honest to god, what the hell can we do about it. Think of the positives, we didn't die in infancy, I'm assuming you are not blind, deaf, nor immobile. We are human beings who are lucky. We have a massively greener side of the grass in terms of the disability table. That is something to be thankful for. "I don't want to be like this". You aren't like anything. The stutter doesn't make you something else. If you know what you are talking about and are contributing to the conversation, then the stutter for any good person wouldn't be something to give a care about. I don't know if this sounds mean or anything like that, but I went through this exact face of inner rage because of my stutter, and it did nothing but make my stutter WORSE, and give me some of the worst days. And for you mate, you are normal. Your indication of empathy signals your value to others, and for that, the stutter is nothing, literally nothing but invisible.
