Agreed. It’s not my life, it’s just a part of it. But somehow, accepting that it’s a part of my life brings me comfort. I think I spent a lot of time thinking that my stutter isn’t something I’m supposed to have; like an unwelcome, uninvited guest who pretends he lives with me but doesn’t. But in actuality, “he” was a rent-paying housemate all along. If that makes any sense whatsoever 😂
