I started a new job last June after being at the same job for over 12 years. I barely thought about my stuttering until I started this job. I have a lot of flexibility to work from home and I find myself not going in to work some days because I don't want to deal with random conversation. It's really affected my ability to make friends and acquaintances, as well as my level of confidence in this new position.
