Your observation is right on. I noticed something similar too! I think it's because of the constant deep inhaling and exhaling for long periods of time while exercising for me. So the body continues to do so after you're done exercising. You kill two birds with one stone, you get to stay active and have better fluency rate. It's why even if I don't feel like working out, I'll do yoga that focuses on deep breathing.
