Just no that your are not alone. I transferred to several different colleges just for the reason of hoping it would be better the closer I got to my home. It’s very difficult. I m not going to sugarcoat it for you. It’s hard making friends obviously and it’s a daily struggle but it’s one you can get thru. Keep your head up. Any so called friends or acquaintances that laugh or make fun of our speech issues are not needed. It’s a struggle without those type of ignorant people and are no help to you.
