Back in junior high, when my acceptance over my speech was at its lowest, I punched a kid for making fun of my speech, but that's probably the worst I've really experienced. Of course I'll get strange looks or chuckles from strangers, but I generally just look at them like their an asshole and they get the clue pretty quick. My closest friends will give me a hard time occasionally, but it's never really been offensive with any of them.
