I was told growing up I wasn't a "true stutterer" by school and outside of school speech pathologists because I stuttered fue to anxiety or excitement. Now, I stutter/block word beginnings that have hard vowels (including my name lol). Since I still stutter at this point I feel like its the chicken or the egg scenario.
