If she's not in speech theapay get her in. It's more then just helping with fluency it's a safe place for her to talk about how she's feeling with a professional who deals with people who stutter. As far as relating, it's really hard for people who don't stutter to understand. But imagine wearing a shock collar that randomly goes off while you are trying to speak. And certain words or situations will trigger it more often. And how you would feel when you really wanted to say something but knew your muscles for speech are not going to be controllable.
