A little over a year ago (the summer after my first year of college), I went to a pretty intensive speech therapy program. I met a man there who, despite having a stutter, was incredibly successful in life. He made it a point to sit down with us and give us some really great worldly advice. One of the biggest things that stuck out to me was, "You are all extroverts. I know this because you're here right now. You want to talk to people. If you were an introvert anyway, your stutter wouldn't matter". That has stuck with me and really inspired me to bring abiut changes in my life *outside* the scope of just the physical condition. I am by no means perfect, but I am orders of magnitude more confident than I used to be, and honestly I could not be happier with myself. If you, or anyone else for that matter, ever need advice or someone to talk to, by all means send me a message. I'll never forget that man and only feel it's just to continue spreading his wisdom.
