Nothing was really said but here goes. Last Wednesday I had to present my summer research to professors and fellow scholars. It was only a 5 minute presentation and I was fully prepared for it - practiced it and everything. When I had to present, my body tensed up slightly and almost every phrase I said was a stutter. I had to push through. When I looked at the audience, a woman was sitting on the front row seat and she gave me a look that I cannot forget. It's the look of "you are strong, you can do this". I have the feeling that she understands the struggles and that really brightens up my day.
