Hey, I agree with you that generally stutter is not something to be embarrassed about. But, I think what you said is up for the stutterer to decide. Personally, growing up I felt embarrassed about my stutter and I wanted to fix it, but procrastinated it with all sorts of distractions. If it bothers the stutterer and he wants a better life, then it is definitely something to fix. It is possible to fix or at least alleviate to the point of living comfortably with it. For a lot of people stutter is negative, that’s the reality, it sucks. I am saying that OP definitely can improve his speech and his life. OP, Asking these questions about your stutter is a step in the right direction, I wish you the best.
