I am 23. I have been on one "date" if you can even call it that. We went to a movie, i purposely did this so I wouldnt have to talk much. We barely talked before, she was late so we walked in...only thing I asked her was if she wanted food. She said no. After the movie, she offered to drive me home(yeah, i didnt drive yet. kind of embarrassing looking back at it now). So she drove me home, not a word spoken until we got to my house. She said goodnight, I said goodnight. That was it NEVER AGAIN It was awkward as all hell because i was too scared to say anything in fear of getting stuck. She had no idea I stuttered. I actually did try to write her after a while to see if she wanted to go out again, because I felt i had a little more confidence. She never responded. So after that I pretty much came to terms i will never find anyone. Only chance I see, is if i ever happen to meet someone else who stutters
