Has anyone here tried the Elevenlabs AI voice cloning for presentations? I'd like to narrate an audiobook I've written but dread the process of recording / editing my voice, especially as I have a stutter. I'm sure I could get it done by just recording and rerecording the parts I stutter on but it would be a lot of work and most likely be quite stressful. I've been looking at the AI Voice Cloning technology from a company call Elevenlabs and it looks impressive. You just record a few minutes of your own voice on mp3 and then upload it to the website. The AI then creates a voice clone of all the nuances of your voice. You can then copy/paste text into the AI and Elevenlabs will read it out in a very convincing version of your voice. You can then download the recordings to use for presentations / social media, etc. Recording my own voice could be just recording snippets or sentences where I don't stutter and then combining them into a long mp3 file to upload. There is a cost, though, so am looking for other people's experiences before I invest. But once cloned and trained, I can imagine a lot of ways to use it to make life easier.
