The only thing that helped me was not to be emotionally destroyed as soon as I start to stutter. I think it's the shame that the stutterer brings to his entire audience that makes everyone uncomfortable, because everyone sees it. But it depends on the context and especially on the severity of the stuttering. It is easier to say when you have a rather light stuttering that allows you to continue a conversation despite the blockages. But for severe stuttering it's way more difficult because i don't know how you can make people confortable when you struggle at every word. Edit : I answered in the wrong thread sorry !
