I grew up having very few friends, basically just my neighbors, and my speech was at its worst right around your age. Since I spent a great deal of time by myself growing up, I developed a lot of hobbies and interests that kept me busy. Some of these actually helped me to meet people too, so that was an added bonus. My speech got better as I got older, so I hope it will for you as well. I still feel somewhat socially awkward, but not painfully so. Try to make some small steps in a direction you’d like to go, social skills are things to be learned through observation and practice. There will be some bad days, but there will also be some successes Edit: when I was younger, I also went to a stuttering support group. It wasn’t speech therapy, just a group of folks who got together to support each other.
