Sometimes I dip out of being actively communicative. I think it can be just as therapeutic as engaging with others. Talking can be exhausting for us, so if you need a break, take a break. You don’t have to bully through it. I mean if you’re one of those people that can just flip a switch in your brain and keep up your energy while engaging in conversation, do that. I’m certainly not and sometimes I just need a break. You sound exhausted and I doubt you deciding that talking is not worth it anymore will be a permanent change, just something temporary while you give yourself some time to get your energy back.
