Admittedly I don't have as bad of a stutter as most id assume. Instead of the repetitions, I'm a blocker...so I can cover it up by faking a cough before or after. Anyways...I've learned that in my experience, introducing myself and immediately letting everyone know that I have a stutter enhances my fluency. I think it's because I'm not trying to hide or cover it up in that situation anymore. Gotta own it man...they say if you wear your insecurities as armor...they'll never be able to hurt you.
