I mean, that sucks, your mother sounds callous, and obviously anyone with a stutter can empathize, but it sounds like the stutter and its consequences -were- the reason why you left. There’s nothing wrong with that, so maybe try figuring out why it bothers you that she understood it? Pretending like the handicap doesn’t affect us is a dangerous slippery slope
