The family don't do it to be mean, there are a lot of them and they all talk fast. We're a pretty solid team. Strangers have their own stuff going on, by the time I got to be an adult I'd developed pretty thick armour so it doesn't really hurt anymore, just occasionally frustrating. Usually when someone is unkind or inconsiderate it's all about them and I'm really just a bystander caught in the crossfire. My friends say the same as you about if they even hear it anymore. That's so weird for me because I stutter a lot. You're clearly an awesome person, your bf is a lucky guy.
