Completely depends on industry and role. I have a stammer and worked as a lecturer for 5 years before starting my own video production business. Yes I stammered but the role increased my confidence. If someone doesn’t hire you because of your stammer, fuck them, they’re ableist. As a kid I had so much anxiety around getting a job because of my stammer and I’d hate for someone reading this thread to feel the same. The only option we have is to not let our stammer’s define us and to live life in spite of it.
