If we practice daily, we could get to a level of fluency where our stutter is undetectable. But we don't? lazy? I remember 6 years ago i was in an intensive fluency program( 2 months), and by the end of it I was fluent. To keep the fluency I needed to practice daily for 15 min on speech strategies ( easy onset, deep breath, stretching...) for about 2 years. But I didn't because I was lazy. I am going to start today again. Do you guys believe that on some level we are lazy about speech practice? its just that if we were fat we would lose weight by going to the gym to be skinny. So why if we stutter we don't practice speech targets to be fluent. I want to hear your thoughts....
