Who thinks it's a great idea to take elementary school kids and tell them that they are breathing incorrectly but then provide very little real information or Hands-On help for how to breathe correctly. Stuttering therapy is little more than a few tips and TRICKS that seem to help those who would have grown out of it anyway. while the persistent cases get blamed for not "practicing" enough or breathing wrong 😔. Extreme slow talking may temporarily enable someone to speak fluently, but it does not enable them to talk and engage in normal conversation. Speech therapists and parents of stutters need to stop lying to themselves and admit they have no clue what they are doing.
