Not everyone on this sub is working toward not stuttering. Some are wishing they didn't stutter at all. Some are wishing that if they have to stutter, that it could be less. Some are or have done programs or therapy to learn ways to stutter less and care less when it happens. Some are wishing they could accept that they stutter and care less about what others think. Some already, through various routes, or just an unexplained shift, do accept it and don't care much what others think. But I'm glad you posted this because I think what many people say here about not wanting to change the past but that they'd get rid of it now if they could is much more common than not wanting to get rid of it.
