Should I tell my boss that I stutter? So I got a job as a bank teller and I’m really proud of myself and I look forward to this job. After shadowing the other tellers and training I realized I’m gonna be doing drive thru and answering phone calls. Phone calls make me incredibly anxious and make my stutter 10x worse, and on top of that we have set things we have to say when answering the phone im pretty good at masking my stutter and most people aren’t aware I have one until they know me for a while, and I don’t think my boss picked up on my stutter during my interview. I wanna tell my boss that I have a stutter and that it gets worse on the phone, but I’ll get more confident the more I do and to just be patient with me. But I’m afraid if she knows I have a stutter she’ll regret hiring me or she won’t think I’m capable of the job. What should I do?
