Consider what it is that you're afraid of: people laughing, feeling embarrassed, making unusual gestures, etc. Talk about your fears, write about your fears, think about your fears. Don't ignore your fears, don't wish them away, don't pretend they're not there. Bringing fears to the light, bringing them out, you'll see that those fears are not that big of a deal.
