In some extreme cases stuttering makes a person to suffer anxiety which might cause premature greying and hair loss, he or she might be hesitant to visit doctor if something feels off and postpone appointment until it's too late. Stuttering might be a serious obstacle in getting adequately paid employment which might lead into taking back braking, dangerous and lowly paid jobs which might mean not eating the most healthy foods which itself might lead into plethora of different health problems and so on. Stuttering itself is just a person's inability to say words as fast as clearly as rest of population but it also might cause a domino effect.
