The strategies can be found here: [https://www.worldstopstuttering.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/WSSACrutchChartREV230308.pdf](https://www.worldstopstuttering.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/WSSACrutchChartREV230308.pdf) You need to figure out which of them works best for you and practice them relentlessly for a while until they become automatic. After using them for a while you will convince yourself / realise that you can say the feared word without any problems and then you focus less and less on the strategies. By doing this you are utilising the science of neuroplasticity. There are videos on YouTube where Lee (or others maybe) practice these strategies in coaching sessions. He coached several times and it was very useful. For my part I started realising that many people doesn't speak "perfect" (whatever that is) at all and rather say a lot of weird things. This also ment that I could take my time to say the first word if needed. That's totally ok to do and there is nothing negative about it. There is a phycological aspect too that may be useful to work on. Maybe you deep down feel you arent good enough or that your opinion doesn't matter. Maybe you are a damn perfectionist (like I was) and often feel you work isn't good enough so you hold back and stutter because of that. This is where the book from John Harrison is good. The Hexagon is very powerful.
