Avoiding silent stutters?

Avoiding silent stutters? Heya, my first post here. First of all, I know this is a strange question So I´ve been stuttering since I was able to talk. Quite badly but don't really mind it, untill since like 1 year ago or so, when basically 95% of my stutters have been silent stutters (basically silently trying to push words out). The issue with this is is that before people knew i was stuttering and they'd just wait. Now it's just awkward silence with the other person thinking i'm some kind of idiot xD. I know I make it sound like a joke but it's really annoying and got me into some shitty situations. Does anyone maybe know how to get rid of these "silent stutters", and get the regular stutter back?
