I’m a mental health counselor for kids. I handle it by using the same habits i use to dramatically reduce blocks in all speaking situations. Disclose (in any number of ways, being mindful that it’s for YOUR benefit, and to be neutral or humorous when doing it) Make eye contact, begin slowly, and on an exhale.
