People with a disability generally see the world very differently than let’s say ‘normal’ people (I know normal people don’t exist, everyone has something) and for someone who has a disability like a stutter which impacts every aspect of his life, they develop a kind of awareness and wisdom that very few people achieve. Yes you develop a personality because you kind of have to, to feel accepted. But the wisdom and analytical skills that come with it aren’t talked about enough imo. There has to be something deeper to it, but every stutterer I have met is so smart academically, socially etc.
