Dont know what to do Background about me - I have been stuttering since childhood. I went to speech therapy when i was thirteen. It helped me greatly and i was almost speaking normally, but after few months i relapsed because i did not follow up with their exercises. (I wish i had been more serious about my speech when i was younger.) I am nineteen currently and my stuttering has become severe( I stutter in every sentence, have shortage of breath while speaking and have facial grimaces while stuttering). I have read few self -help books written by reputed experts. All of them emphasize on trying to talk to as many people as possible without hiding the fact that you stutter. So, i want to talk with as many people as possible . However, due to the pandemic, i am not able to find people to talk to in real life (except my family, with whom i do not stutter at all). I have tried practicing before a mirror but generally, i speak fluently while doing that. I also tried using some voice-chat apps but most of them are filled with spammers/ or are inactive. Therefore, i do not know how what do now? Any ideas as to how i can practice talking with real people.
