You can approach this in two ways 1st - Get the stuttering part of out the way. When you talk to someone directly say that you stutter. It takes the pressure off. Most of the time people are considerate and they will hear you out. 2nd - Try talking in a slow manner. While saying your name use technique like pausing or bouncing it might help. If you are not comfortable don’t address the stuttering part. No matter what you do talk to as many people as possible. This can be a great opportunity for you to finally get out of your comfort zone and build up your confidence. Lastly, always remind yourself that the person with whom you are talking is also human.
