Took speech lessons as a kid from age 5-8, and then just didn’t do it again all throughout my childhood years. My stutter was never very severe but it definitely interferes with my speech and I struggle with it. Took speech lessons again when I was about 17. Practiced the drills and recorded myself speaking. After multiple sessions I realized that this isn’t something I’m going to get rid of and rather something I will have to constantly manage and control.
