If your metric is curing your stutter you're going to be unhappy. The reason people say that you need to learn to accept your stutter is because not doing so makes you miserable. No ones saying its not hard to stutter, or that with work you can get it in a better place but you're always going to deal with stuttering. People who offer a cure are misinformed at best but often grifters stringing you along to extract money or views. Also, part of the reason people say seek professional help is because there's more to each of us than stuttering. A whole lot of us are depressed or dealing with things like anxiety but spent years hyperfocused on our visible stutter instead of less visible things that contributed to our unhappiness.
