I don’t know if you are really hearing what people are telling you. No one said its easy to start putting yourself there. Also no one is saying that if you stop thinking about your stutter it will magically go away. It won’t. The more you talk to people, push through the anxiety, and try new things, the more resilient you will become. Your world will open up more the less anxiety holds you back. Anxiety will worsen your stutter, so decreasing it can improve your fluency.
