American accent?

American accent? I found that my mild stutter disappears “americanising” words, the pronunciation is softer and has more natural flow for me than my natural accent. (I’m from London ). I don’t do it with my friends and family but when I have urgent information that needs to be communicated I don’t hesitate to go full American (best way I can describe it is a Deep South accent, throws people off but good for emergencies and ordering food)
