I had speech lessons when I was younger, but it didn’t help that much, and that was when my speech was at its worst. But really mine lessened more and more over time: I didn’t really utilise the techniques I’d been taught and was basically pretty bad when it come to practice etc. It literally seemed to disappear around 16 years old. I still stammer, daily, but it’s to a very small degree. I’m sorry that I can’t give a better explanation, but that’s partly why I want to learn more about it. But it seems to me that as I mentally matured, my stammer was more controllable.
