I needed to find a **great** speech therapist to get the help I needed. Now I am much much more accepting of my stuttering and doing things I didn't think I could before. I'm still not finished with my journey, but speech no longer occupied so much rent in my mind. Also join the NSA. See if there's aocal chapter nearby and definitely go to the conference next year if you can.
