Talking fatigue? I was recently speaking with somebody with hearing loss who suffers from listening fatigue where they feel tired after spending an extended period of time in noisy environments or trying to listen to media or conversations and it got me thinking about those of us with stutters. Do you ever feel fatigued after talking for any amount of time? I never really thought about it but I get tired and out of breath if I have to talk consistently for more than 10 minutes. I know part of that is my breathing being terrible on account of my stutter but I wonder if there's been anybody looking into a correlation between fatigue and speaking for pws. Just s thought that I'd love all your insights on.
