Because there’s a fair number of people who take issue with drag and I’m afraid they’ll associate their negative feelings with drag, to stuttering as well. The only comparison I can use, and it’s an unfair one, is with watching Joe Biden give rambling incoherent speeches. People then associate stuttering with a rambling old man who can’t give a coherent speech.
