I relate to you. What I would do is anytime when giving a presentation or anything like that, say in a professional manner that you "speak with a stutter" so "please bear with you". I'm 28 so a bit older. I can tell you what it's like being an adult on her own stutterer. It's felt isolating and alienating. My neighbors think I'm this super quiet weirdo and some think I'm snotty. I don't tell people about this disability unless I'm about to be fully talking with them. The only thing that makes this bearable is using the coping methods we all use to try and have as many mild or fluent days as possible.
