No, probably because of my stammer I would rarely approach a woman outright. I had much better success in meeting women through groups, school, or other activities. Meeting girls at a bar through a larger group of friends worked as well. Believe it or not, stuttering is kind of an asset as long it's not too severe, as it marks you as unusual and conveys a vulnerability that some women find attractive.
