It gets better as you (and the people around you) age and mature. College and my adult life I can many count one one hand the number of times I’ve been mocked. Adults don’t care about your stutter and are trying to live their own lives. There also is an inverse relationship between the amount of education & intelligence a person has and his/her likelihood to mock your stutter. Try and surround yourself with smart people. I was teased most in middle school and 9th grade when I was in regular classes with the cretins. Then in 10th grade I got moved into honors and AP classes and wasn’t mocked at all the remainder of HS and college (unless a cretin passed me in the hall and wanted to make himself feel better for being a loser). The great thing about graduating from high school is you most likely will never see any of those people again. Leave all those losers all behind.
